Seedbridge Charitable Initiative is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) incorporated in August 2023 and registered (RC:7100084) with the corporate affairs commission to join forces with others in the fight against poverty and lack of timely and accurate access to resources needed by those who are at the bottom of the pyramid.
The Initiative is a start-up social enterprise born out of commitment and passion for providinga place where members can access resources (money, people, skills acquisition, education and well-being) needed to better their lives and that of their families.
Seedbridge Charitable Initiative (SCI) is a stand-alone project of Fight Against Poverty and Lack (Uyo) Multi-purpose Cooperative Society Ltd in Akwa Ibom state Nigeria. Duly registered multipurpose cooperative society in November 2015 with the appropriate Government regulatory body in charge of cooperative society in the state. The objectives are to coordinate market women (men), artisans, micro/nano business owners, workers, etc. in organising a pool of private funds to serve as a reliable source of credit and investment opportunities, which members can look towards as a convenient and more affordable means of personal, livelihood and economic development.
Also, our focus is to educate and encourage members to have a saving and investment culture and grant micro-loans to members to facilitate economic and social development while also incorporating literacy programs for women and children for a sustainable financial inclusion program. We have impacted and are still impacting lives one family at a time.
